SCAD FASH ✦ Custom Luxury Invitation
The task was to conceptualize and develop an invitation for one of Miss Sohee’s dresses, a couture fashion designer, for SCAD FASH. The invitation was required to replicate design motifs found on the dress, and to create an invitation that feels expensive and well crafted. As apart of the design, I had to implement different folds, die cuts, foils, and illustrated elements. Every element except the photography was created by me.

Process
From start to finish, I was constantly making prototypes before actually creating with final materials. From sketch to final physical product, I tested each step of the design before implementing it. The project as a whole was created from scratch, and took about a month to complete. I loved working with new materials, such as foiling, even though it was frustrating at times. I pushed through, and created design solutions that resulted in a stunning final piece.
