Florasaurs ✦ Neenah Paper Promotion
The assignment was to create a paper promotion for NEENAH, a paper company (not a real promotion). I wanted to combine concepts that would work together, and create a memorable collectors item. The seed packets feature illustrations of different dinosaur species, combined with flowers you can plant. In addition to using a variety of paper types, the assignment also called for special treatments to the paper such as die cuts and foiling.
Foil Details
Each seed packet, and the front of the box, has a silver foil detail to match the context of each piece.
One Step Further
In addition to the physical product itself, I wanted to expand upon the project, and create an advertisement that the company would use.
Process
I found a free template for the box itself, and from there added my own assets. The color print had to be done on an inkjet printer, and to create the foil, I had to overlay a black ink from a laser printer, then apply the foil, and send it through a laminator.
